Physical and Postural Assessment

Pre-Class Assessment

Everyone needs a pre-class assessment. The short free assessment covers two key fundamentals - breath work and how to engage your core correctly.

The longer assessment (45mins / £45) will enable you to have a good posture in all positions for better movement patterns. This assessment option is recommended if you have a special condition (osteoporosis, hyper flexibility, low back pain, hip bursitis, joint replacements, scoliosis) or are post injury. By understanding the five key fundamentals better - breath work, centering (core and pelvic floor engagement and neutral pelvis), head and neck position, ribcage placement, and shoulder setting, you will have the foundations for strengthening your body safely and effectively.

Please wear a fitted t-shirt and either exercise leggings or shorts to your assessment, a different colour top to bottoms. Hair ideally off your face and neck.

Please bring a towel or mat to your assessment at Goring-on-Thames.
